Catapult test rig
688 FightingFalcon
5.7 years ago
This hunk of steel simulates the weight of an aircraft to test the catapult launch system on an aircraft carrier. These testbeds are actually used by the navy for this purpose, and tend to skip across the water. Also, this model is appropriately weighted similarly to it’s real life counterpart.
