The A-9 Vigilance was a short range fighter/interceptor produced by Kuat Systems Engineering for the Galactic Empire and later Dark Empire. Production of this ship began in 9 ABY. This particular A-9 has been retrofitted to include a higher visibility cockpit and has improved the strength of the engines so that landing gear is no longer needed. The VTOL system(Gyro+Nozzles) is activated by switch 1. The main engines are activated by switch 2.
