This was an experimental interceptor, devloped by Prof. Kurt Tank it was designed to carry an early version of the air-to-air missle, the Ruhrstahl X-4, to down the American super bomber the B-32 Dominator which could fly from an American base to Germany and carry a nuclear weapon, this aircraft would have been used to counter the B-32, but the war ended before production could begin and when Nazi Germany fell Kurt Tank fled to Argentina, where his aircraft lived on in the IAe-33 Pulqui II jet fighter for Argentina and the Russian Mig-15
