The first aircraft of the F series of aircraft, standing for fighters. Rather suprisingly the army chose to upgrade the increasingly obsolete L7 series of aircraft rather than pick a new design. This would've meant doom for this plane if the navy hadn't stepped in and placed a generous order for 150 carrier based planes. They would go on to be higly succsesfull, being the first fighter to breach 1000 kph in level flight, and the first aircraft to be refueled mid-air (that's what the stick is for). This particular aircraft belongs to the navy's elite hell squadron. THIS IS A FICTIONAL PLANE
