After watching the MAE Lancer corner the global market for cheap, multi-role aircraft, JAC struck back by applying CWT to their Buccaneer strike fighter. The Super Buccaneer demonstrated its worth during the Panhandle Insurgency. Despite being slower than the Lancers it faced, the Super Buck's better rate of roll and lower unit cost resulted in victory on both the battlefield and the market. The sight of a flight of Super Bucks skimming low over the horizon became a source of dread for vehicle crews the world over.
