about this work

This program started 7 month ago.Last summer I finished my High school and graduated eventually. Since I had locked myself studying for the College entrance examination, I didn’t touch this game for once.So my first plan that summer is to pick up this game and creat a work that is further more detailed and realistic than my past works.

preparations

In order to pursue the best quality and the most comprehensive structure. The main point is how the cabin was designed and how the gear, wings, body’s detail looks like. As we know, the soviet machinery design is well known for its coarse and complexity, especially the cockpit was absolutely a nightmare for not just the pilot, but SP players like us

When taking about the outside of this aircraft, the soviet style gear and the back-position wings are impressive. In order to learn the very whole details on it, I searched almost every websites that has the information of this aircraft.

building & create

 Thanks to SimplePlanes’s newest update, the cockpit of the aircraft now is quite easy to build by just cutting and adjusting the fuselage block it self rather than pile hundreds of parts to shape the nose. 

The tail was not as usual design as the modern aircraft we see in the airport at present. It’s kinda same to the ones on the Lockheed L-1011. The hard point on this design is to fully cover the engine by using curly fuselage. I spent three days to work out this technic barrier


For me, the wings system are quit handle. I especially love the Fuller Flaps on the Tu154, which was is of mechanical aesthetics

This time the gear system has a further improvement than my past works. activated, realistic, structured, and reasonable.


the cockpit was my major point in this work project. I almost spend 1 and a half month to search for reference and built. this massive structure not just realistic, but activated and VR supported
