Sky Slicer Mk. II
27.9k SteadfastContracting
8.8 years ago
This version flies considerably better than it's predecessor by only vectoring parts of the wings plus the engines. As before pitch is Act.1

@SteadfastContracting np :-)
Thanks @Misha1004 !
Thanks @ hadesrocksz On both counts!
@Skua Ok. Thanks.
@SteadfastContracting any text editor works. You could use Notepad if you like, but Notepad++ is free and a lot better.
@Skua Ok. I've found the it but what am I supposed to open it with? When I click on the folder it only gives me the option for a few things(like 2).
@SteadfastContracting no, don't worry, much easier than that. First thing to do is find your AircraftDesigns folder, where all of your saved builds are kept. It should be C:\Users[you]\AppData\LocalLow\Jundroo\SimplePlanes\AircraftDesigns. LocalLow is a hidden folder, so you might need to enable hidden items if you don't see it. Once you've found that, open the .xml file for the plane you want to edit in the text editor of your choice
@Skua Actually... No I haven't. I'm not even really sure what that is. Is it where you use the Unity program to mod things?
@SteadfastContracting yeah, sure. Have you done any xml editing before?
@Skua Thanks, would you show me how?
@SteadfastContracting I can do that for you, or show you how, if you like
@Skua Thanks. For the last version I would like to increase the speed and add weapons but I think I need unbreakable wings. Or at least unbendable.
Definitely flies more smoothly, and the wings look great under pitching with just the all-moving central section. Still suffers from some of the problems the old one had with having no leverage for pitch, but a cool build overall
