Judging by the falling number of site visits, SP is really dying.
And yes, replicas are much more recognizable, and therefore are valued more than original builds.
In addition, the community of builders of Tanks and other military vehicles has almost died out.
@Boeing727200F there is a rift between players. Them: "oldies don't need the upvotes." Us: "Their builds aren't up to snuff."
But I am not an average SP player. 95% of my builds have 10 upvotes or less. I have always been using my imagination to build vs. trying to replicate someone else's imagination. Lots of people do not appreciate originality. In my opinion, If a build catches my attentions I upvote it, If I download, I comment too.
I’ve noticed that many builds on the site, even platinum players, have so little upvotes. Is simpleplanes truly dying?
