Generic Aviation Mundane Works G1-MW Shogun
Another Interwar inspired plane, but this time the plane is backward. Initially designed as a biplane with forward swept wings, the whole design was soon reversed and tweaked in order to yield better top speeds, structural and aerodynamic stability, and better energy retention over the Paladin at the cost of mobility, which ironically the initial design goal for this project of Mundane Works was better turning performance. This is very much an energy fighter compared to the Paladin, as it cant turn or even do a loop easily, but will climb faster and can maintain a high alpha for longer than the Paladin. Speed and verticality is the name of the game for this plane. Although it looks unconventional its closer to the original wright flyer than you think (which now i think about it is by today's standard pretty unconventional itself). It has the same armament as the Paladin: 4 Jundroo Wing guns and a single 250 lb bomb.
Based on the Kyushu Shinden, XP-55 Ascender, and XP-56 Black Bullet, but with my own flare (mainly the biplane design). At this rate the Mundane Works Monoplane is already in trouble creativity wise lol.
