If you're struggling to place it, just use the manual way of typing part coordinates in the Transform Part Menu (make sure before moving, the button below the position coordinates should be set to "Connected Parts") and then gluing the two bottom parts together with the Attachment Editor (the red colored thingy on the bottom of each module and the similarly shaped part on the main hull, glue 'em).
• Also:
Did you know that it's an international crime to use the White Background & Red Cross (ICRC Symbol) on your/other games or builds? Yeah. For me, i picked the green background and white cross (commonly named as the "First Aid Symbol" under the ISO 7010) as an alternative to the Red Cross as it's not subjected to the same strict laws. While it definitely wouldn't land you in jail anytime for warcrimes, avoiding the usage would be a good sign of respect for the symbol and the stuff it represents. This is only as far as i know.
