——A Message——
Dear, SP users
I dearly thank anyone who finds the time to download this! Each download, upvote or comment means a lot to me as a rookie creator. I’m super glad I have the opportunities to share my works with the rest of you. It felt euphoric when I added the finishing touches to this thing because I’ve delayed it for so long now, but it’s finally here! I would deeply appreciate it if you left an upvote if you liked it, and I would appreciate it more if you found the time to leave me some feedback or constructive criticism as well. Thank you again so much for downloading.
-Sincerely, Mysweetbologna

The Askal Essay
by [REDACTED FOR PRIVACY AND SAFETY CONCERNS]
The Plated Islands Project (PIP) was a program originally kickstarted by G13’s need to expand its manufacturing range to land craft alongside aircraft. Without proper funding at the start, G13 sought to collaborate with the Southeast Asian Military Project Union (SAMPU) and suggested for them to have MBTs created for countries without them, and a country that came to mind would be the Philippines. Engineers and vehicle designers at G13 worked for months trying to make this project come to life. Two designs were tried and tested, with the second one being more practical and efficient, in terms of mobility and cost, than the first. Philippine conflict would often happen in urban placements or jungles, so the design was aimed towards those two. The name “Askal” was suggested, as it was a term used for street dogs. A prototype was made which was not too expensive but also not lackluster in terms of performance. The tank reached speeds of 81km/h and had intense braking power, that it was advised for drivers to slow down before braking as to not fling the whole crew to the front of the tank. The Philippine army bought several of these and used it mostly in urban areas and flatlands because of issues with the tracks on inclines over 45°. Though still outmatched by more advanced tanks like the Leopard 2 and Challenger 2, the Askal is reliable and has its own charm.

Thank you! @Randomdoggo
I’m from the Philippines. “Askal” is a common term for street dogs, and this tank was designed for combat in urban locations. @Tsar
Why is it called that like that?
