MCS Serpent (CGM-7)
Another missile corvette by M.Corp. This ship is an affordable, heavily armed coastal defence vessel. It is armed with eight custom anti-ship cruise missiles and one 76mm Boom25 auto-cannon. For air defence, it has twenty short-to-medium range SAMs.
The ship is designed to provide an affordable protection of M.Corp territorial waters. It's high speed is useful for search-and-rescue operations and Counter-insurgency operations conducted during peace-time cooperations with the M.Corp Coast Guard, and for search-and-destroy missions against enemy vessels during war time.
This ship features a few things I did for the first time:
-It is made mostly out of structural panels. I have never used those before.
-It has my first successful custom ship-to-ship cruise missiles.
-It's the first time I'm using a wide-angle lock-on, created by scaling the cockpit block.
Some other interesting features:
-76mm Boom25 auto-cannon, 51 rounds of ammo;
-Custom camera with crosshair to aim the cannon;
-Realistic handling;
-Realistic design.
Controls:
-VTOL and Trim to aim the main gun (Camera1). Also aims the lock-on;
-AG1 activates starboard-facing cruise missiles;
-AG2 activates port side-facing cruise missiles;
-Inferno+Lock-on+LaunchWeapons to launch cruise missiles;
-Boom25+LaunchWeapon shoots the 76mm gun;
-Throttle and roll control the ship.
Enjoy

Also, here's a Fun fact: All of the antennae on my latest ship are actually stolen from this. I had them saved as a sub assembly and I just remembered where they actually came from.
I remember writing that comment like it was just yesterday.
Inspiration from RSS Victory?
@Dllama4 I know. Can't wait to see what the conversion will be
Ok. I'm not finished yet. I can just delete the unlisted post if you want me to. That would work. I've done it several times.
@Dllama4 let me see (tag me on it). If there's enough changes, it won't have to be a successor. I worked pretty damn hard on this one, you know
Ok. Does it need to be a direct successor? I uploaded an unlisted version.
@Dllama4 feel free to. Just make sure it's a successor.
linky link @FGW2014
@Dllama4 whats it called, and abouts where is it located?
Mind if I upload a modified version? @EternalDarkness
It's a mod. @FGW2014
@EternalDarkness Where do you go to get the water background?
@Dllama4 A frigate or a destroyer is more than my device can handle. I have built one of each, bit making them wasn't a pleasure.
Hi! I would like to request something. My navy needs a ship and you are obviously very good at making them. Would you mind making a destroyer or frigate somewhat like to new Russian Gorshkov Class? It's fine with me if you are currently busy and can't build it. Thanks a lot! :)
@EternalDarkness No problem :D
@Sparrow007 thanks buddy
Great design! Love it!
@ploptro7 thanks buddy
ermagerd
@WeeBabySeamus thanks man
@EternalDarkness The handling is fantastic. You sir, are a master of your craft!
@WeeBabySeamus no problem. I'm glad that you like it. This one has the best armament of all my ships. If you are more into performance, I suggest trying my M.Corp White Swan light gunboat. It tilts in turns, and sails like an actual speedboat.
my favorite ship on this site now, thank you for building this!
@AdrianFlyingAce Oi! Your supposed to keep the game secret!
