A growth derivative of the experimental CA16A, the CA16D ('Cormorant I' was the 16C) replaces the CA6 Kiptis in service as a maritime patrol / bomber. Needs back trim on takeoff, possibly related to the wing-sweep angle (a Variable-geometry configuration was tried and abandoned). 1 for drogue chute.
