The Edgley EA-7 Optica is a sort of low cost alternative to helicopters, as it is not the fastest, but has a very open and airy windowed cockpit. It is powered via an unusual application of a ducted fan (turbofan in this version), and is most commonly used for police or surveillance work. This aircraft was an absolute pain to create, if I'm honest. But that makes it all the more fulfilling to finally share. Not perfect, but I'm satisfied with how it looks and handles.
