It's not debatable. All these 'sources' are simply muslims trying to cover up the truth because they know how bad it looks. All the reputable historical accounts point towards her being six. @Rodrigo110 in regards to women's right, is this because Islam doesn't allow women to work etc ? And regarding marriage with minors, maybe you aware of this, back in old era old principle must be applied, like men must do hard work and women cook and do chores, that is why a 25 years old men married with 12 years old girl. This principle are not nessesary, even forbidden to applied in modern era but also it is not a a big problem to be applied as long as local rules and the family involved agreed without any problem.

By the way the other guy blocked me so I couldn't comment anymore - the worst way to deal with disagreements is to shut yourself out to them. Stopping the ability to have reasonable discourse is one of the worst things a society can do.

I know there's plenty of misinformation about Islam - which is why I don't repeat any of it. I also obviously am aware of the fact that a society faults is not necessarily due to the religion which most of them subscribe to. However, knowing how many disgusting things are written in the Quran (and the bible as well!) - this issues are echoed across all of the Middle East - specifically in regards to women's rights. I have done extensive reading and research on both Islam and Christianity. Most muslims don't think it's ok to consummate a marriage with a 9 year old, most christians don't support slavery. However - both of those things I just listed in their respective books. They are terrible, barbaric and outdated and I wish that people would move into the modern era. @spefyjerbf @O5BIRD
