R.A.F Avalon Galewind Mk-1(A)
Avalon Galewind
Backstory
"On March 1935, The Air Ministry Called For A Heavily Armed Aircraft, Consisting Of Eight Wing-Mounted 0.303-inch (7.7-mm) Machine Guns, Thus The Galewind Was Created."
"Compromising Instead With 6 Wing-Mounted Of Higher Calibre, The Avalon Was A Great Multirole Aircraft. It Had Functionality Both As A Ground Attack Fighter, Escort Fighter, And Bomber Interceptor. While Initially Thought Promising With It’s Strong Firepower & Versatility, The Galewind Had High Operational Cost And As Such Was Not Suitable For Mass Production. Multiple Obscure Variants Emerged, And Galewinds Never Went Past Mk-1’s "
