My first real attempt at a helicopter. Not able to control it for more than 30 seconds yet, so I'll keep working on it. In the meantime, have fun crashing this thing. Throttle to 80% for minimal lift. VTOL controls main rotor pitch, all other controls are basic pitch, roll and yaw.

    1. The throttle governor causes the tail rotor to spin automatically, otherwise it over speeds and explodes if the propeller pitch is neutral, and yes Yaw does control that.
    2. I'm not so sure it's you, I think that the physics of the game just don't allow for single-rotor helicopter flight just yet.
    3. The fuel is actually in the body of the helicopter, but the cockpit is actually housed in the cargo box. I initially did that as a temporary fix, but once I discovered that no amount of balancing would fix the flight characteristics, I just left it there. Once there is an update with maybe some gyroscope parts, I will rearrange the location of the cockpit to be able to drop the container.

    Issues:
    1. The tail rotor starts spinning without any control input. It spins it around on the runway if you wait too long or it spins it around in the air if you take off. You should try to make its propellor pitch be controlled by yaw.
    2. As with all helicopters I've flown on SP, it's impossible to fly for very long. I'm not terribly concerned about that. It's me, not your helicopter, most likely.
    3. All the fuel is in the cargo box. I was going to drop it, but it hit the wheel and the helicopter fell out of the sky. The rotor slowed and I saw that there was no fuel. If you can't drop the container on the Bandit airport (if you were skilled enough to get there) and fly back, where's the fun? (It's in getting there, I guess)
    That will be all.
