RJ Bristol Beaucastle 2.5
Introduction
Well my Firethorn started off with inline Griffon style engines but as the design developed it became more obvioust that radials would be the way to go to more match the style of the Firecrest it was based from, this left me in a quandry as i liked the wing and Griffon engine design, so rather than just do a remodel with different engines i rebuilt it quite significantly.
So now with a pod fuselage which holds the pilot, 2 40mm cannon and 4 M2 machine guns, a twin boom layout (without tricycle undercarriage to be different), 8 wing mounted rockets and all sorts of other bits and tweaks I can present the Bristol Type 150B Beaucastle
Designed from the beginning to be an interdictor the twin engine design allows for higher battle damage survivability as does the twin boom design, the pilot sits high in the pod increasing the visibility and space for protection under him.
Controls
AG1-2 = start engines
AG4 = close canopy
