Boeing 247 (early)

The model 247 was the “first modern airliner”, its kinda well known for its forward sweeped windscreen. This was to stop the reflections of the instrument lights reflecting on the windscreen at night. This was a poor solution because the screen ended up reflecting ground light so later models had sweeped back cockpit windows (which also reduced drag)
