The Hawker Siddeley Nimrod was a maritime patrol aircraft adpated to carry AA missiles due to the naughty Argentines and the falklands war. This is my tribute to it, ive tried to base it on XV250 (at elvingtons yorkshire air museum) with a few bits i have had to take some liberties on. Ive left it to you people to add bombs etc as you see fit. vtol up for bomb-bay doors, vtol down for flaps. Hope you enjoy this, took me ages to make.

@RamboJutter
Well, they are still flying the P-3's for awhile. Their is an airshow that ended today, they had the P-3 and it's replacement, the P-8. I always give the finger to the new P-8. It's because I was a P-3 gas Turbine Mechanic for 10 yrs. So, the P-3 can't do it, so I do it for her :)
@sheepsblood yeah all retired as of 2010ish, just saw xv250 belt down a runway today though so at least some are still alive.
You stated the Nimrod "WAS" maritime patrol aircraft. Did they decommission it? I've been out of service for 10 yrs so obviously I haven't been around them since but I used to see them now and then. I worked on P-3's
Wow nice
Awesome!
