The ES-50 showcased the Squirrel Industries Map MKII a few months ago… I should probably do something about my inconsistent uploading.

Anyway, the ES-50 is an attack aircraft with a nice selection of weapons to choose from. Those include: 6 Boom 25’s, 6 Unguided Rocket Pods, 6 Infernos, 4 Standard Falcon guns (activator 1) and an ever so slightly overkill scaled up Falcon Gatling gun (activator 2).

Raven engines are also incorporated into this build to slightly improve the fuel efficiency. Carrying all those weapons takes its toll on the weight front, so fuel was sacrificed as a result. However, range is still acceptable.

Handling is smooth, if a little bouncy, but it can be easily piloted by novice users. Stability is also good as dihedral wings are used, as are multiple fins in order to increase redundancy and prevent heat seekers from locking onto the engine exhaust (much like on the A-10). Canards were also added to improve stall characteristics and to add a bit more agility in pitch.

Overall, this is basically the Squirrel Industries A-10/SU-25… Much to the disappointment to those on the receiving end of it. Anyway, until next time happy flying!
