DESCRIPTION
"Colossus of Rhea" at Point Mars of the 3rd Coastal Protective Line "Rhea", 1941.
Coastal Defense Gun No.021, also known as the "Colossus of Rhea," was a massive coastal gun deployed by the Imperium Obelia along their 3rd Coastal Protection Line "Rhea". Originally designed by Kola Arm Industries as the primary armament for a class of Super Battleships, the gun was deemed too heavy for practical naval use.
Lanciarii Armory then repurposed the project, converting all twenty-three guns into stationary fortifications, primarily for coastal defense, though some were installed inland.
DEPLOYMENT HISTORY
"Colossus of Rhea" in its grey factory paint, 1940.
"Colossus of Rhea" was deployed alongside other guns of the same caliber, positioned 7 kilometers behind the 3rd Coastal Protection Line "Rhea" facing the Western Coast from 1939, with its final upgrade completed in 1941. During Operation Hotrod, the gun's presence made it extremely difficult for Allied landing forces to approach the beach, keeping the Western Coast largely impenetrable until the 1950s, when Allied forces gained air superiority over the Imperial Royal Air Force. Despite sustaining heavy damage from airstrikes, the "Colossus of Rhea" managed to remain operational with minimal crew due to its intact hydraulic rotation and loading systems.
In a final act of defiance, the gun sank the battleship RN Florence with a direct hit to its ammunition storage as it approached to support the landing force. Shortly after, the "Colossus of Rhea" broke down and was destroyed by its own crew to prevent its capture. By the end of the 35 Years War, none of the guns in the coastal defense line remained intact, as they were either destroyed by Allied forces or deliberately scrapped to avoid falling into enemy hands.
CONTROL:
AG-1 to activate gun and automatic rotation
VTOL to change gun elevation
NOTE
I did not add full auto aim because somehow my gun wouldn't elevate further enough to hit a target, so i stayed with manual elevation.

@Panzerwaifu69 Thanks. you could check out some of my builds if wanted. just saying.
@VTPADELTA i used !this map
I think we need more coastal defense stuff like this, as example.
I wonder what modded map was used for the pictures.
this is some shit that would be feasible by 40's germany and stuff, and for that i respect it
holy fuxk this goes hard
@ShadowHeavyIndustry flowers are not in SP so yes he is using a modded map
Very good, now slap the gun in a triple turret and put four on a battleship
@OrangeConnor2 :)
@Graingy Diar. Rhea.
You are a child.
How much do you charge?
@Graingy no? What's a Diar?
Colossus of rhea:
Kid named rhea:
Is this in any way tied to Diar?
@WinsWings Thanks!!
The gun is cool, and the images are so cool as well. The flowers in the foreground bring the contrast between the wild nature of fire and battles. Love the story as well.
@126 most English speakers don’t speak it properly (at least American English speakers)
@Panzerwaifu69 That seemed too low, but checking the 15in MkI seems to confirm that.
Seems like it would’ve been something of a design oversight for such a weapon.
Still cool tho
Are you using mod map for screenshot?
@SomeSPGuyWhoLikesLore I wish I could add crab legs to it XDD
@Graingy Yup, 25° elevation, lower than average
Damn that’s cool.
Range is very short. Elevation must be absolutely minimal.
@126 hmmmmmm add legs to it
@SomeSPGuyWhoLikesLore it's a coastal defense gun bru-
@126 it actually took me multiple Jacksepticeye video and NerdCubed video for me to learn English :ashbaby:
No mobility?
