A large alien dropship designed to fight in the Formic war against the humans..
With the ability to hover for weeks on end in complete silence, it was used to guard outposts and help airlift resources to interchange with larger ships. Once defeated, the formics left thousands of these strewn over the globe.

Though we still do not understand how this machine is held together or constructed, Humans managed to work out the Formics' exceptionally simple flight controls, and hijacked these machines.

Controls go something like this;
Throttle up to hover, Vtol forwards to power main engines.
Comes equipped with the most powerful known cannons in the galaxy. Otherwise, Standard Flight characteristics and controls.
