This aircraft was the first Fighter that Summit Aviation, a private aerospace company founded in the late 1940's, created. The Tadpole is a stright winged jet fighter capable of speeds up to 600 mph on the deck. It ws also one of the first jet fighters of Jaysia to feature flaps in the wing design. ( which are opperated with the trim tab). The aircraft was also used as a testbed for the new Gunpod that was developed by a forign partner, which would be installed on later fighters.
