In order to use as intended, save the gun part of this as a subassembly, and then attatch it to any plane of your choice.
It has a fire rate really close to the actual thing (around 4000 rounds per minute, although I think mine has a bit higher of a fire rate). Unfortunately the barrels don't spin when you fire it (I'd have to make it into a mod for that to work, and even then I have no clue how to make mods), but WHO EFFING CARES? IT'S A GAU-8 AUTOCANNON! IN SIMPLEPLANES!
If you would like to use it in one of your marvelous creations, please just give me credit for the gun, as i spent around 2 hours making it as close to the real thing as I could.
Have fun making sh*t dissappear with the GAU-8, now in SimplePlanes!
(And yes, I did actually make the caliber(s?) 30mm, to do so I modded the gun's files using the Overload mod, which comes in really handy when making custom weaponry.)

I definitely didn't put this on both wings of an F4U Corsair and I also didn't proceed to vaporize an A-10 Warthog
Also, can i use it for my future builds
To make it spin u need to attach a rotator use overload then go to input controller and change max to a high number and change the in put to fireguns or fireweapons or whatever
I made the GAU-8 Avenger for my simple A-10 thunderbolt and yeah I also have an issue of finding a way on how to make it spin. But I can tell you that the fire rate is 3,900 rounds per minute and can even be 4,000 rounds per minute. Also the GAU-8 avenger has 7 barrels not 6 just to point that out.
