The KJ-15 Cicada is a guns only Jet propelled aircraft for the Kawaseki Shogunate and the first recorded aircraft to be able to perform what is known as a Cobra manoeuvre. Its Delta Wing design helps with this feat.

During the Silver Sea Conflict between Kawaseki and the Tsardom, the Shogunate still fielded old gen 1 prop aircraft, while the Tsardom already has a vast air fleet of capable multi role jet aircraft. Also due to Kawaseki's religious standing, they never received the standardised missiles that the Draco mandate manufactures, such as the Guardian and Interceptor Missile.
So, Kawaseki engineers had to work their way around the problem. The Cicada was the first for many things that are now standard in the world's air force. The first to use flares to avoid missiles, the first to include a half-glass spine to improve visibility, the first to Jet Aircraft to successfully land on a carrier without the need of an arresting hook, and obviously the first to both avoid an interceptor missile, and the first to pull a cobra.

The Tsardom's top fighter of the time, the Vasilisa, underwent several refits in order to combat the Cicada, which just goes to show how effective this 1.5 gen aircraft is.
