HISTORY:
The Steel Dragon is a steampunk style combat airship designed for the Scallorian Royal Air Force during the early twentieth century. The Steel Dragon is propelled by two 1500[HP] steam engines, both of which are powered by a single high-altitude furnace. A pair of dual frontal canons alongside a pair of rotor machine guns come standard with the anti-air weapons package. The flat side armor of the gondola, however, also makes it easy to mount latches for anti-surface ordinance at the crew's request. All these features made the Steel Dragon the most powerful and most feared combat airship in the world. The was of course, up until the advent of airplanes.

INSTRUCTIONS:
Activate action group 2 to engage the VTOL engines, these are necessary to provide the airship with lift. Use the trim slider to adjust the VTOL engines' thrust. Move the trim slider upward from the central position to increase thrust and make the airship rise. Move the trim slider down back towards the central position to make the airship descend.

Activate action group 1 to engage the propeller engines. These are necessary to propel the airship forward. Use the standard throttle input to control the propeller engines' thrust. Activating action group 1 also engages the white smoke trail emitter, which simulates the effect of spent steam being bled from the engines.

Activate action group 3 to engage the gyroscopes. The gyroscopes are necessary for stabilizing the airship as well as improving the reactivity of the yaw control while flying forward. The gyroscopes also allow the airship to pivot in midair while hovering. Activating action group 3 also engages the black smoke trail emitters, which simulate the effect of smoke exhaust being diverted out of the furnace, away from the gondola, and up the funnels. Just as a steam-powered airship cannot fly without the furnace being fired-up, this airship cannot fly without the gyroscopes being activated.
