Conceived as a long range interceptor craft, the Nordenvok Fighter Aircraft - 17 Gryphon made its first flight in 1958 and was used throughout the Hon Kain Crisis and even well into the Third Global War as a primary, cheap fighter. the Aircraft was initially outfitted with two 30MM cannons, two long range air to air missiles, and a single 500 pound bomb but other variants included a 30MM Gatling gun, 6 air to air missiles and an attack variant which carried two fuel air explosive bombs and four guided AGMs. The aircraft was officially retired in 2052, making it Nordenvoks longest lived aircraft.
