Santoni F192 "Falena" Modello 4
The F192 was a delta wing multirole Fighter built For the newly (1988) founded ISDAAF (Italian Self Defense and Attack Air Force) and the IAF (Italian Air Force).
The ISDAAF requested a highly maneuverable multirole fighter that could both attack other fighters, but also engage ground targets.
It was often equipped with two bombs, 4 AiM sidewinder and 1 autocannon
This was part of the 6th "Stormo Attacco al suolo"(6th ground attack squadron)
The 6th SAAS symbol was a..... moth.
because the Aircraft resembled a moth.

It was sold to:
Russia (bought the license to build it, used it as a trainer)
Taiwan:bought 45 for self defense.
