F-17 Flankercat
literally another tomcat ripoff
F-17 FLANKERCAT
The F-17 Flankercat is an Adretian fighter designed for the Adretian Navy in 1969.
Due to the old age of the NF-1A the Adretian navy decided that a new fighter had to be made. So in 1968, aircraft designers from Grumann hehe met up in the Adretian capital to design a new state of the art aircraft.
The aircraft had excellent flight characteristics, high top speed, good maneuverability, and very good missiles. the AIM-9S "Sierra" was a state of the art AAM, with an ungodly turn rate, and the ability to lock onto targets directly behind itself. In 1970, the first prototype was built under the designation XF-17. In 1972, after a few adjustments were made, the aircraft flew for the first time. Test pilot Friedrick Kurfurst, the pilot who first did its weapon testing, absolutely adored the AIM-9S for its ungodly abilities. He also talked about the AIM-54A, saying it was the stupidest long range missile he had ever fired because it basically always hit the target. The 20mm M62A1 Falcon cannon mounted on the nose however, he said was a bit annoying to aim, but it really didn't matter when you can sling a missile that pulls Jesus amount of G's.
(i dont wanna make this long its kinda late i have stuff to do tmrw lmfao)

This looks like an unholy combination of a Flanker and a Tomcat that somehow also managed to have down syndrome.
It's so ugly, it's actually beautiful!
@CrestelAeronautics funny thing about this is it originally did have thrust vectoring but then I had to drop it
seems cursed
but approved
@FlirBlitz Does ti have thrust vectoring?
