D-AIFC joined the Lufthansa fleet in January of 2001.
Lufthansa didn’t initially name the aircraft, however, during the 9/11 attacks, a lot of flights where diverted to Halifax and Gander, where the local population volunteered in huge numbers to help out with the handling of the flights and the sheltering of passengers.
To thank the cities of Halifax and Gander, Lufthansa named the aircraft after these cities: Gander/Halifax.

Next up, the Boeing 737-family, and some more liveries.
@CSTIJN ok
@Yourlocal737 I’ll try, I couldn’t get the larger aircraft to a lower part count but the 737-100 that I’m working on is currently at 346 parts.
I think it’s possible to stay under the 500 parts for the 737-100/200/200C/200F.
It will be harder for the 737classic’s, 737ng’s and 737MAX’s, because they will have a custom engine.
