The 2nd complete aircraft I made (there were many intermediates for testing how SP's basic tools work), the cockpit alone took me an entire week to learn and still its lacklustre. As a newbie I lack a lot of knowledge and would be glad if y'all could send me a tutorial for implementing flaps and making better cockpits :)
