Toy air plane
Dad bought me a toy plane!
It was many many years ago...
It was a rubber-powered toy airplane - my dad bought it for me when I was seven. It was when we went to one of the Independence Day festivals held in Mandalay, Burma - the town where I was born. A man was assembling and selling those toy airplanes. There was a short line of kids and parents. I was so excited to arrive at my turn. I got the one with the blue props. Dad told me how to hold it so that the propeller blades would not hit my fingers - how to spin it, and how to launch the plane.
The sly was so blue and bright. I was so happy to chase behind the plane when it flew.
I build this plane from my memory. For the toy, I have to spin the prop in the reverse direction, then hold the prop and plane and launch it in the air. The propellers will then spin from the power of the rubber rings. It could fly relatively high. I remember those exciting moments.
Only to be launched from the air; it will not take off on its own.
Use the Bendit Field Approach or the Wright Airfield Approach.
Enjoy!
