This is a revision of my experimental glider for the Going the Distance challenge. My goal with this aircraft is to attain as high a score as possible in the challenge without the use of XML editing, mods, cheats, physics abuse, or weapons. To operate this aircraft in the most efficient manner, pitch the nose up, then throttle up and climb until the airspeed falls to around 80mph at around 3,100ft. The gyroscope will keep the aircraft level until the challenge is complete (you can fast-forward the glide in your pause menu to save time). I have been able to travel about 82,000ft away from the starting point with this version, as opposed to my first version, which traveled around 44,000 feet. please let me know if you have any suggestions to further improve this aircraft, or tag me if you make your own glider.
