In 1946, after successfully pushing back the Allied forces from mainland Germany, the Germans needed a fast and effective Ground attack aircraft. Junkers, Messerschmitt and Arado competed for the contract, Junkers won by designing the Ju-68. The Ju-68 is armed with radio-guided missiles, rocket pods, 20mm cannons and the 30mm Mk 103.
