In 2003 the F/A-18C-1 was unveiled at Chølitron International Airshow alongside the original F/A-18C Hornet. In 2005 the Dash 2 was unveiled. In 2007 the Dash 3. But in 2010 the most successful Dash series aircraft was unveiled, the Dash 4. The Dash 4 had extra horizontal stabilizers in the front, upgraded radars, and the ability to carry cruise missiles. The Dash 4 saw combat in the Republic of Cørsica and shot down more than 700 aircraft in one week. The first 10 Dash 4s went to VFA-84 aka “Uno Reversers”, which was stationed at Vøstálgon Air and Naval Base.
