UCAD 1987 T15A Longnose

28.7k TWDDerSharkmarine  4.4 years ago

So after the 1985 incident with the #04 and #44 Trislandia Racing pulled off from the motorsport, however in their homeland the engineer tried one more time to make a working and reliable F1 car, they works in secrecy building their own V10 making 750hp, the end result is this, the T15A Longnose, but what the heck just because why not this thing lean to the inside of the corner instead of leaning to the outside of a corner, it corner substantially better than the T10A, it also outspeed the T10 by a measly 20km/h, it doesn't have the tendency to spun out by itself, in fact this thing doesn't want to spin, it was definitely better, so they took it on Desmo Raceway (fictional), a small and short 1.3km track only used by people wanted to have some fun, this thing corner the turns like a charm, it doesn't even spin once, it was deemed great for the race but Trislandia Racing Team never got back to F1 anymore

Throttle: Gas
Roll: Turn
Oh yeah, the head moves

This thing is AI haven, it control best when controlled by AI, just don't race 2 of these thing side to side because they're matching speed and when they do that you know what happen? It fired into space, well not really but the car bumped just a little bit too hard and it will be destroyed

Oh yeah, try to survive in Goldprix as long as possible while getting shot at by a fighter jets, with missiles, i didn't survive because well uh..., i hit wall, clonk the wall ("clonk" as FailRace said it), and hit a kerb too hard and explode

@WarshipDude true.... you're not that bad in making cars

@Speedhunter okay, perhaps something like a diffuser would be enough despite having already ridiculous amount of downforce that the car naturally roll to the inside and not the outside, it doesn't even have adaptive or active suspension and its amazing how stable this car is

@Speedhunter its not inverted, it doesn't matter, produce the same amount of downforce, despite everyone saying inverting it would give more downforce, i kinda lenient but the complexity of doing such stuff makes me boiling, also, try to change the wheel traction from auto to manual, so you can alter the amount of grip you want, sometimes lower settings is better than all high settings of the grip

@WarshipDude did you invert the wings? I tried it on one of my experimental cars and it takes off

@Speedhunter it needs a lot of trials and errors to make a car works, i always put hidden wings for downforce since without it the car just doesn't want to be controlled, Takswagen car suffers from this problem

Actually, you're better at making cars than I am
