Mitsubishi A7M3-J Reppu Kai [Rebuild]
History
A proposed Interceptor variant of the still-in-development A7M1 Reppu. The main difference was a longer nose which incorporated a supercharger derived from a captured P-47 Thunderbolt. A moved back cockpit, a larger Landing gear which required a bulge on the leading root of the wing, which speaking of, was also redesigned. The initial proposed armament was 8x20mm (possibly 2 on each wings, and 4 on Schrage Musik configuration), but was revised to 4x30mm forward fire, and 2x30mm on Schrage Musik configuration. A prototype was already in development, but was destroyed from a bombing raid on a Mitsubishi factory plant.
However, in 2019. A 1:1 Scale Model was built in Japan which was said to be made from Flexiglass.

Outro
3rd Rebuild plane, and possibly my Highest Part count Build to date at a whopping 797 parts! Just imagine how much it would have if it had Cockpit intruments and some details. XD
Anyways, everything is entirely made from scratch. Yes including the landing gears which i usually just borrow from another user's build lol.
Also NGL, Japanese Aircrafts during WWII are pretty eyecandy

I specifically made the cockpit area hollow fuselages and glasses so that if you guys ever want to give it an interior, you don't have to replace the fuselage into hollow fuselages and just lessen the opacity of the glass hollow fuselage.
.
Maybe ill start doing it like this from now.
Mitsubishi makes electric stuff too!
So It has the Japanese equivalent of Schräge Musik
@KingOfTypos I still watch that kind of stuff
@kitkatof kind of understandable as a kid when your dad made you join him on watching something like Top Gear.
I cannot be the only one that thought Mitsubishi only made cars
@Vladimir1944 ..ill try consider it, as something special (maybe when i hit platinum?) together with my "Pusher Aircraft Inverted Hayate"
@Vladimir1944 damn ME-262 style Zero??? that's fire!!
@KingOfTypos Me262 style ?
@Vladimir1944 lmao, i dont think i can do a Zero with jets.
@KingOfTypos thank you ! I've been searching for a reppu as a post-war modification !
Would be helpful if you also do a Zero with jet engines
