Using a very unique and unconventional “Box-Wing” design, which links the main wing with the horizontal stabilizers, essentially creating a biplane wing with less drag, the BHI.701 “Boxer” was designed to be a turboprop tactical transport, similar to the C-130 Hercules. The large wings created a ton of lift, allowing for short takeoffs and landings. It has a large rear cargo door allowing for airdrops and easy loading and unloading.
