As it's current designation says, it's Experimental. Which is where the orange livery comes from. This is not a future plane.

An interceptor that could rival the MiG-25 Foxbat and MiG-31Foxhound, the F-28 performs quite well at speed. It's weapon system is also not outdated, although range is still a problem. The weapon this plane carried is the new experimental High-Velocity Air-Air missile. This missile is highly accurate, good at range, and of course faster than other missiles.

The problem with the plane is the lack of radar range. This plane could do BVR, but not as good as other interceptors. Although for an interceptor, this plane quite excels at maneuverability.

The plane has an arresting hook and a catapult connector for carrier operations. This plane can be either carrier-based and land-based.

A gun pod is also attached to the bottom of the fuselage. In case gun is needed for a dogfight in anyhow. The proposal for air-driven gatling type cannon was present, but it was rejected due to the speed limit of the gun pod, and it's integrity for an external gun. A design was worked out for a gun pod with quad 20mm cannons. It has successfully fulfilled the requirements.

HVAAs are placed inside two weapons bay designed to carry much weapons with minimum drag. Since the HVAAs are smaller than normal missiles, it is suitable for stowage inside the pod. Other armaments are deemed too large for the pod to carry. So currently only HVAAs are available for the weapons pod.

The controls are made to be as simple as possible.

• Pitch, Roll, Yaw, and Brake are all normal.
• VTOL is for the flaps. This also works for trimming the plane.
• Trim down is for the weapons bay.
• 1 is for the arrestor hook.
• 2 to detach the missile pod if you have no need for it or after it's empty to gain maneuverability.
• 3 to detach the gun pod for more maneuverability.
• 4 to fire all outboard tri-mounted missiles at once.
• 5 to fire all HVAAs at once.

• Yes, i know about the bug/glitch of the livery.
• The flaps goes both ways, so bringing the VTOL up is a good way to stabilize your plane at high-speed.
