Avenger Tank Mk II
An upgrade to the Avenger Expeditionary Tank. Armed with a high-velocity 105mm coilgun, its hull features upgrades from the Victoria series, notably the driver's compartment. While light tanks served the Marines well, they were found too vulnerable due to their poor armor. The Avenger sought to remedy that issue while providing excellent mobility and powerful weapons. When compared with the Army's Victoria, it is much faster and more reliable, though it had thinner armor and a weaker armament. The vehicle is fully amphibious, and formed the basis of many other types. This example is operated by the 4th Marine Armored. The machine's side guards have been removed to ease track maintenance, and a gun shield has been fitted. Use VTOL to control direction of tank and yaw to turn the tank. To operate the turret, press (1). To operate the machine gun, press (2). For both weapons, pitch controls elevation and roll controls traverse.
