ACAW-Slugger multi role attack jet
The Bulldozer was too expensive. The 928 was too slow. The Shockwave was too under-armed. The 326F was too darned old. Something had to be made to fill the gap. The Slugger was made for that. Made to be cheap, quality amongst the mass produced jets was questionable. Cost cutting was rampant, with air brakes replaced by air cutoffs and the body and wing being made in one peice. However, the twin Gatling guns made up for the lack of trust. Fielded in large numbers, it was kept to the New Canadian republic only. Over half a million have been produced to date.

@Flash0of0green I began making a "simple" Meteor to base a smaller stealth jet on, but it was so simple I thought I might as well make it a new plane, with a backstory to match.
Sounds like a tough jet to get behind.
