Background

Development started in 1987 when the Neorasia Army required an AMBTV (Anti Main Battle Vehicle)
because during combat simulation,SMBT-01 Iron Rhino easily destroyed by Thunder Country's Main Battle Tank,because of that, the first prototype was created, which was named AMBTV-PT in 1993,after passing various tests such as firing test, armor endurance test,and speed tests, after a series of tests, the AMBTV-PT entered mass production in 1996 and entered service with the Neorasian Army in 1997.
