Boeing-787
Boeing 787 (English: Boeing 787) is the first ultra-long-range medium-sized airliner in aviation history. It is a new model launched by Boeing Company, a famous American aircraft manufacturer, on December 15, 2009. The typical three-storey seat design in the variant can accommodate 242 to 335 passengers. Boeing 787 is characterized by a large number of advanced composite materials used to build aircraft skeleton, ultra-low fuel consumption, low pollution emissions, high efficiency and comfortable cabin environment. The main competitors are Airbus A350 and A330neo. The first Boeing 787 was delivered to All Nippon Airlines on September 26, 2011. Prior to its renaming in January 2005, the original name of the aircraft was 7E7. 787 first appeared at the launch ceremony of Boeing's Everett Factory on July 8, 2007. The development and production of 787 involves large-scale cooperation with many suppliers around the world. The final assembly took place at Everett's Boeing Everett plant in Washington and Boeing South Carolina plant in North Charleston, South Carolina. Initially planned to enter the service in May 2008, the project experienced several delays. The first flight of the airliner took place on December 15, 2009, and the flight test was completed in mid-2011. Boeing reportedly spent $32 billion on the 787 program.
