The Jad Viper was a medium bomber made by the Jad manufacturing company. In 1935 the head of Jad decided to design a military aircraft as a private project. He designed a twin engine medium bomber and designated it Model-45. By 1936 the first prototype had been finished in Jad's factory in Jaidania, and made it's maiden flight in April 1936. The test Pilot reported that although the Model-45 was fast for it's size because of it's sleek design it was unstable and hard to control at high speeds. Jad attempted to fix these problems but they had to postpone the project for six months because a large amount of their factory equipment malfunctioned and had to be fixed. After only partially fixing the performance problems of Model-45, Jad summited the design to the Jaidanian Air Corps and delivered three prototypes to an Air Corps airfield for testing and trials. After the tests were over the test pilots again reported similar issues to the first prototype but overall thought the handling and speed was much better than their older aircraft and the Model-45 was accepted into service in 1937 and was given the code name Viper and was used extensively as a strategic bomber and in anti-shipping missions in the waters surrounding the island of Jaidania until it was removed from service in 1956 and replace by the Model-52.The forth Jad Viper of Squadron 13 had it's crew of five consist completely of gay men and, much to the dismay of their commander, named it the "Glizzy Gobbler Express". The crew of the "Glizzy Gobbler Express" flew 32 missions and sunk 3 Marselese cruisers during the Marselese-Jaidanian war and were awarded for their brave actions with the Medal of Jaidania.
