Joegalan Suwastria is an Indonesian medium truck designed by Industri Berat Joegalan. The vehicle is designed for civilian youths to be used for utility usage, such as workplaces.
Development
In 1968, the Industri Berat Joegalan designed a medium utility truck that could be used by youths. The design was submitted to the Indonesian youth and quickly accepted.
The first prototype was constructed and finished in Surabaya with the first prototype rolled out and began it's test drive. The vehicle saw a success after a test drive, and in 1969, the production began.
Production completed in 1992 after reaching 4,000 total of produced vehicles. Youths were still using this vehicle until today.
