Southsea Basilisk
Lore
The Southsea Basilisk was a turpoprop military naval aircraft developed by Southsea Limited and delivered to the Fleet Arm Air in the early 1950s.
After the second world war the British army requested all planes to have a jet engine.
After a few scrapped projects because of this limitation, Southsea Limited presented a naval, turpoprop fighter bomber capable of reaching 670 kmh loaded and having a range of 2350km. After being deployed on the HMS Tiny Two in 1953 it served for 5 years during the Krakabloian Crisis In the Simpleplanes archipelago. 125 were produced and only 13 were shot down with a total of 5 casualties. It can carry a single 18 inch torpedo and 6 RP-3 Rockets for ground and naval assault.
