Lockheed Martin F-22A Raptor
Your standard F-22 Replica
Description
The F-22 Raptor is an American single-seat, twin-engine, supersonic all-weather stealth fighter aircraft developed and built for the United States Air Force (USAF). It was designed as an air superiority fighter, but also incorporates ground attack, electronic warfare, and signals intelligence capabilities.
The F-22 Raptor is a combination of stealth, supercruise, maneuverability, and integrated avionics, coupled with improved supportability. It performs both air-to-air and air-to-ground missions. The F-22 possesses a sophisticated sensor suite allowing the pilot to track, identify, shoot and kill air-to-air threats before being detected. It can carry a variety of weapons for both air-to-air and air-to-ground missions, among them are the AiM-120D, AiM-9X, SDB, and others.
The Pratt & Whitney F119 engines produce 35,000 lbf (156 kN) of thrust. Allowing the Raptor to achieve speeds of Mach 2 in combination with the sleek aerodynamic design and engine thrust, the F-22 is also capable of cruising at supersonic airspeeds without using afterburner, a characteristic known as supercruise. This greatly expands the F-22's operating envelope in both speed and range.
The sophisticated F-22 aerodesign, advanced flight controls, thrust vectoring, and high thrust-to-weight ratio provide the F-22 superb maneuverability, superior than all current fighter aircraft.
In this simpleplanes version, quite literally this is just your bog standard F-22 replica, there's supermanueverability, weapons bay, modeled cockpit and anything else that's on a typical Raptor replica.
