The Yakovlev Yak-4P is a prototype interceptor built by the Soviet Union in the mid-1943.
It was equipped with a modified Klimov VK-107 engine with Contra-rotating propellers.
The first Yak-4 were armed with a single 45 mm NS-45 cannon with 29 rounds and one 12.7 mm UBS synchronized machine gun,
performance issues caused by both the NS-45 and the unreliable engine used on the Yak-4, the project was abandoned in early 1944.
