Named in reference to the airframe from which it originated . As the name says. I didnsome research between this and the most recent of my P-51 models. By comparing them, i found greater speed in this plane, slightly reduced weight, and as a result of both of these, increased fuel efficiency. Stability is slightly decreased, which is exibhited by the minute fishtailing that occurs after a sharp roll. Quite frankly, I find this to be more appealing visually than my mustang.

I have tried this kind of configuration, as I agree; there is something more more aesthetically pleasing with this setup, though you will always seem to get that slight wobble after a sharp pitch. Was wondering if positioning of VTOL nozzles may effect this and improve perhaps, on a different aircraft of course9.8 years ago
